Today USL announced the second minor part of that process, the values and vision statement. Your immediate goal should be a mission statement for US Grand Lodge. However, by-products of that process should result in a statement of principles, goals and a vision for USGL. When reading the Field Guide to Nonprofit Strategic Planning and Facilitation, one begins to see that having a vision of where the organization is going or should be is important to creating strategic goals.
